Primo Drinks is an AWRS registered wholesale drinks business, servicing many customers primarily in the North of England. Established in 2003, we pride ourselves on our industry leading delivery service which is available 7 days a week and also offers a same day delivery service option every day.

Primo Drinks was the brainchild of haulage sole trader, Brian Wright. Consolidating all of his experiences from a previous venture, Brian made use of the valuable negotiating skills he’d built up to negotiate buying well below the wholesale cost of alcohol, and Primo Drinks (then known as the Nationwide Outside Bar Company) was born.

Before long, Brian had established partnerships with a whole host of Manchester-based pubs, clubs and restaurants. So many, in fact, that he drafted in his son, Gavin, to drive and deliver for the business. It was from this point onwards that things really picked up steam, with sites opening in the Wirral, Blackpool, Stoke and Rotherham in no time at all, in addition to the main Stockport site.

With such rapid growth, we changed the company name to Primo Drinks to represent a broadened scope and clear focus on reliability. It was our better-than-competitive pricing strategy that really ruffled our competitors’ feathers, though, with more than a few getting in touch to ask why *they* weren’t getting prices like ours from brewers.

Our pricing is still as competitive as it ever was, and the speed of deliveries, well, the key is in the name, but it is our customer service that really shines. We think of our customers, not in order numbers, SKUs and quantities, but as fully fledged partners. We establish relationships based on transparency and trust – sharing information and order updates that most companies wouldn’t dream of sharing with you – and our integrity, passion and commitment are what make all of this possible.
